About Us
Dan Kobin – CEO and founder of AES NYC – was a renowned rising whisk in the restaurant business. A chef with multiple restaurants, he began to also offer catering services and secure off-site venues for both corporate and social clients. This led him directly into a new career in venue ownership, management, and sourcing.
In 2009, AES NYC was established. Over the years, AES NYC has secured venues for Fortune 500 companies, marquee trade shows, product launches, and high-profile clients. It also expanded to include scouting and securing locations for film shoots and pop-ups.
Now known for its evolving collection of AES NYC owned and managed venues including Center415 (30,000 sq. ft. on Fifth Avenue) and Iron23 (17,000 sq. ft. in the Flatiron District), 21Greene (3,500 sq. ft. in SoHo), 45Grand (4,600 sq. ft. in SoHo), and the newly opened Annex417 (20,000 sq.ft in Midtown), AES NYC also offers clients additional locations through Venue Seek, a location sourcing service.
